Talvan’s Property HuntBeyond Listings
A strategy-led concept redesign for Talvan’s International, created to reposition the agency around its strongest differentiator: actively finding the right Paris property for buyers instead of relying on public listings alone. The prototype transforms Property Hunt into the primary experience while supporting premium listings, confidential opportunities, international buyers, market intelligence and acquisition guidance.

Project Perspective
Research Before Listings Buyer First
The concept began with a positioning problem rather than a visual one. Talvan’s offers something more valuable than another collection of available properties: it can actively research the wider Paris market for a buyer. The redesign therefore shifts attention away from endless property browsing and toward a guided Property Hunt experience that better communicates the agency’s real value.

The Purpose Behind The Prototype
This concept was created to explore how Talvan’s International could communicate its business model more effectively through a premium digital experience. Rather than redesigning the website as another luxury real estate catalogue, the prototype focuses on the service that makes the agency more distinctive: actively researching the Paris property market around an individual buyer brief.
A Service Before A Search Portal
Traditional property websites usually begin with inventory. This concept intentionally reverses that hierarchy. The buyer first understands that Talvan’s can search on their behalf, including public listings, professional networks and relevant private opportunities. Existing properties remain available for discovery, but they no longer define the entire experience.
The Property Hunt Journey
The journey communicates four clear stages: defining the buyer brief, researching the wider market, evaluating and negotiating suitable opportunities, and supporting the acquisition through completion. This makes an otherwise complex brokerage service easier to understand and gives international buyers a clearer reason to make contact.
Designed For International Buyers
Buying property in Paris from another country can involve unfamiliar regulations, language differences, pricing uncertainty and fragmented market access. The prototype brings multilingual guidance, market perspective and local support into the same experience so the agency feels like a single trusted point of contact throughout the process.
Private Opportunities
A dedicated confidential-property section reinforces another important part of the positioning: not every desirable property reaches public portals. By creating a clear private-access path, the concept gives serious buyers a reason to engage directly with the agency instead of limiting their search to publicly visible stock.
Market Intelligence As Authority
Editorial insights are given a meaningful role within the design rather than being treated as secondary blog content. Paris market analysis, investment perspectives and research help demonstrate expertise and build confidence before a buyer submits a brief or starts a conversation.
Prototype Goal
The goal of the prototype is not simply to modernize the interface. It is to demonstrate a stronger business narrative for Talvan’s: a premium, multilingual Paris real estate partner that can understand what a buyer wants, research beyond obvious listings and guide the client from initial brief through acquisition.
Product Principles
5 decisions shaped the experience.
01
Lead With The Hunt
Property Hunt is treated as the primary conversion journey. Buyers are encouraged to define their location, budget, architectural preferences, lifestyle requirements and non-negotiables so the agency can search around the actual brief rather than forcing the buyer to adapt to existing inventory.
02
Go Beyond Inventory
Available properties remain important, but they are positioned as one part of the experience rather than the entire product. The concept communicates that Talvan’s can research public stock, professional networks and relevant private opportunities to create a much wider search surface.
03
Build International Confidence
The interface is structured to reduce uncertainty for buyers purchasing from abroad. Multilingual communication, French market guidance, pricing context and support through the acquisition process are presented as part of one connected service.
04
Preserve Private Access
Confidential opportunities receive their own clear journey, allowing the brand to communicate that some suitable Paris properties may never appear publicly and can instead be accessed through professional relationships and private seller mandates.
05
Turn Knowledge Into Trust
Market intelligence and editorial content are integrated into the experience to demonstrate expertise before a buyer begins a conversation. Research, investment perspectives and Paris market analysis help position Talvan’s as an informed advisor rather than a transactional listing intermediary.

System Thinking
Designing The SearchResearch First
The prototype is structured around a deliberate conversion hierarchy. The first path invites serious buyers to start a Property Hunt, followed by selected properties for visitors who still prefer to browse. Confidential opportunities introduce private-market access, international support addresses cross-border friction, and market intelligence reinforces credibility. Each section supports the same central idea: the right property may exist beyond what is currently visible online.
Repositioned Property Hunt as the primary value proposition instead of treating the website as a conventional property catalogue.
Created a structured search journey covering buyer requirements, wider-market research, evaluation, negotiation and acquisition support.
Kept available properties accessible without allowing listings to overpower the agency’s research-led positioning.
Introduced a dedicated narrative for confidential and privately marketed Paris opportunities.
Strengthened the experience for international buyers through multilingual and cross-border guidance messaging.
Integrated Paris market intelligence as a trust-building layer for buyers and investors.
Created clearer conversion paths for starting a property hunt, browsing properties and requesting private access.
Established a more premium visual direction aligned with high-value Paris real estate and international clientele.

Final Outcome
A Smarter Property JourneyBeyond Browsing
The final prototype turns Talvan’s digital presence from a listing-led experience into a service-led property journey. Property Hunt becomes the central call to action, while curated listings, confidential opportunities, international guidance and market intelligence work together around it. The result is a more differentiated concept that communicates why a buyer should work with Talvan’s even before the right property appears online.
