How I Think About Skills
A tool is valuable when it improves the product, not when it fills a badge list.
I do not describe React as 85% or Node.js as 90%. Real engineering is contextual: the question is whether I can use the tool to solve the problem clearly and reliably.
Choose for the workflow
I prefer technology choices that simplify product behaviour, team maintenance and future changes.
Build reusable systems
Components, APIs and schemas should make the next feature easier, not create more duplication.
Keep learning close to shipping
I learn fastest when a new concept is tied to a real product requirement and production constraint.
